Senior Emergency Generator Technician
 
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification, Farm Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification

Experience: 3-5 years

Diesel Engine Repair Specialization: Fuel injection systems, Exhaust systems, Cooling Systems, Engine Control systems

Powered Equipment Repair Specialization:  Electric generators

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Specific Skills: Inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Determine extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair required or replace defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance , Clean, Lubricate and perform maintenance work

Essential Skills: Math skills, Writing skills, Working with others, Problem-solving skills, Speaking and listening skills
