Technical Sales Representative

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of University

Credentials: Not required, Some electrical mechanical knowledge is an asset

Experience: 3-5 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Type of Sales: Technical Sales

Type of Sales Account: Local accounts, National accounts, Key accounts

Customer/Clients: Commercial establishments, Domestic governments, Industry

Products/Services: Electric Power, Industrial Machinery and equipment.

Specific Skills: Promote sales to existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients, Assess client's needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services, Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service, Deliver sales presentations, Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license

Essential Skills: Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use, continuous learning.

Other: Power systems knowledge and their related Canadian codes is a plus. Experience in emergency power generation is a plus.
