GAL Group of Companies Extends its Reach North with New Thunder Bay Office
GAL Power Northern to provide emergency power expertise to customers
from Sudbury to the Manitoba border
GAL Power Northern will provide the same superior service and power generator solutions GAL is known for, with a focus on the unique emergency power needs of businesses and industries in the north. Offering generator sales and service, the office will support companies from Sudbury, north to Hudson Bay and west to the Manitoba border. Heading up GAL Power Northern is 30-year industry veteran Joseph Gagliardi.
As Regional Manager, GAL Power Northern, Gagliardi pulls on extensive experience in the local market working with customers including forestry, mining and property management firms as well as public sector customers, such as local government, First Nations and regional hospitals.
Over the years, Gagliardi has worked with a number of providers including GAL on projects that have taken him as far north Peawanuck, Ontario. Gagliardi is excited to exclusively offer GAL’s expanded services and customer service model to new and existing clients in Northern Ontario.
“Working with GAL Power, I often admired their focus on service excellence, so I am excited to be part of the growing team,” said Gagliardi. “With GAL Power Northern, I have the chance help GAL provide customers in the region with access to a wider range of quality products and services delivered by an experienced and knowledgeable team.”
While GAL Power Northern will initially focus on sales, there are opportunities for growth given the GAL Group of Companies increasing service offerings. In this, GAL’s 25th year, the company has expanded through strategic acquisitions to provide customers with an even wider range of services. Acquisitions include Cronair Mechanical Services Ltd., a full-service HVAC company, and Montreal-based Techtrogène, as well as the establishment of a new TSSA-compliant fuel storage and delivery systems service and installation company called GAL Fuel Systems Limited.
“As the GAL Group of Companies continues to grow, customers in Northern Ontario will benefit from our expanded level of services and expertise,” said Guy Lapierre, CEO, GAL Group of Companies. “With Joseph’s leadership and experience, we see substantial opportunity for growth. No doubt GAL Power Northern will contribute to another successful 25 years.”
